New Products Group Supports Project “MARA” by Kateryna Buchatskaya and Vitaliy Kokhan

12/02/2016

An art project “MARA” by Kateryna Buchatskaya and Vitaliy Kokhan is about to open on December, 2 at the Kyiv Port creative hub, in Naberezhno-Khreshchatytska street 10-a. It will be held within the program of the creative residence PortArtStudio initiated by the Platform for Contemporary Art (PCA) and New Products Group.

Concrete sculptures made by artists within the Port creative hub residence are on display. Every work is an attempt to answer the question:  what is the nature of the sculpture image as an object of the material world? Where are these images – just in our imagination, within the physical object or within its visual display? Is tactile contact a necessity or just a formality
