EatMe bars — nutritious snacks for participants of the charitable children's camp "Living like Indians

07/22/2017

A true Indian should be able to do three things: to owl hook, to make a fire with friction sticks
and quickly eat delicious bars while he has fun in the camp. The latter became a part of the
New Products Group initiative. They provided children in the "Living like Indians" camp with
the full range of healthy snacks.
"Living like Indians" is a free camp for orphans and children from low-income families in the
Brovarsky district. It is a project of the Children's Social Rehabilitation Center "Sunshine",
which has been organizing summer camps since 2001. This summer 206 children have
spent time in the camp for free.
The theme of the camp, which took place from July 3 to 21, was the life of the Indians. The
children were taught to shoot arrows, to sail a boat (or to swim if they could not), to hike and
make crafts as well as to perform on stage of the improvised theater and even sing!
All types of these activities are the part of the rehabilitation technique "The pedagogy of the
adventures" that allows children to rest properly, overcome their fears or complexes, and
socially interact. In addition, it gives them an opportunity to make new friends and have fun.
EatMe bars perfectly complemented the camp diet: they are nutritious and tasty, moreover,
they are portable, so that every child could easily boost their energy by eating the snack
during a rafting tour or a long walk in the forest.
