The biggest Ukrainian hackathon, called Media Hack Weekend 2016 will take place in Kyiv at the Dovzhenko Film Studios in the period from 7 to 9 October. During these two days participants of the forum will present their ideas, look for the like-minded people and unveil start-ups. Participants of hackathon are mostly app developers, video content and IT specialists, designers, marketing experts, PR specialists and ad makers, product and project managers. A special team of advisers will help participants to create ideas. Among the advisers there are specialists from Kyivstar, 1+1 media, SNS VKontakte, MacPaw, Genesis Media, Hromadske and other affluent engineering and media companies.
A two-day lyceum will take place within the MHW16. More than 20 speakers will participate it. They will tell about the virtual reality content creation, involving Western mass-media in the start-up process, etc.
